What it's about Synopsis

England, around 1800: Following the death of their father, the two sisters, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, face an uncertain future. The level-headed Elinor conceals her feelings for Edward Ferrars, as a future together seems hopeless due to social and family obstacles. The younger Marianne, on the other hand, falls head over heels in love with the charismatic John Willoughby. Caught between hope, disappointment and the constraints of their time, both sisters must find their own way.
