The father of five, Frank, has worked his way up and has become a highly paid freight ship scheduler who is there for the company day and night. After he has forced a criminal decision in a stressful situation, he suddenly finds himself on the street and conceals it from his environment. While he does everything in his power to find a new job as quickly as possible in order to maintain his family's accustomed standard of living, he feels the constraints of competition and the alienation from his loved ones more and more.
